Cedarwood

As you now know, in this segment, we will be featuring one essential oil on the first Wednesday of every month. We will be giving you fun, educational information about the benefits of the featured oil, how to diffuse the oil, diffuser blends, how to infuse it where applicable, recipes for food and fun bath and body products you can DIY all month long! This month the oil we are featuring is Cedarwood which has many great benefits.

Benefits:

• Naturally repels insects

• Promotes relaxation

• Helps to keep skin looking healthy

• Natural deodorizer

• Skin cleansing properties

Uses:

• After a difficult day, diffuse to create a relaxing environment.

• During your facial routine, add one to two drops to your facial toner or moisturizer to promote clear, healthy looking skin.

• Place a drop on a cotton ball and place in closet to keep moths at bay.

Directions for Use:

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

How & Where to Apply:

(one drop each)

• between eyebrows

• back of the head- recessed area

• either side of the head- above the ears

• bottom of big toes

• bottom of thumbs

Other Uses:

• Pamper yourself with an at-home scalp massage. Warm a few drops between your hands and rub into your scalp for healthy-looking hair.

• Place a few drops in your shampoo and conditioner for shinier-looking hair.

• Smooth skin by adding Cedarwood to your favorite lotions and skin care products
