I love when I post a photo of a nostalgic concoction of mine and someone asks for the recipe! So here it is... my strawberry daiquiri recipe that’s 15+ years in the works. You heard right... I started making these for my friends when we were tweens. My house was the hangout and we were always chilling in the hot tub-summer, fall, winter or spring with a virgin daiquiri in hand, compliments of yours truly.

This year was extra special, because I got to make them for Freddie for his birthday night celebration. In our family we do birthdays big and small all month long. On his big day, we kept it simple with a small celebration with just him and Joel and me. It was the best! And these were the perfect end to a wonderful night.

Lauren's Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Celebration

Serves: 3

Time: 5 minutes

1 cup Bryers Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

1/4 cup milk

3 cups of ice (about 10-12 large ice cubes)

2 cups Strawberry Daiquiri Liquid Mix

*Optional Alcohol: Captain Morgan’s or Liquor of choice

Add all ingredients to Ninja blender. Blend until no more ice chunks remain. If it is still chunky, add more strawberry mix or ice cream. Top with a strawberry and whipped cream!

Miss Edith's Simple Homemade Whipped Cream
