Introducing our oil of the month:

Rosemary Vitality


As you now know, in this segment, we will be featuring one essential oil on the first Wednesday of every month. We will be giving you fun, educational information about the benefits of the featured oil, how to diffuse the oil, diffuser blends, how to infuse it where applicable, recipes for food and fun bath and body products you can DIY all month long! This month the oil we are featuring is Rosemary Vitality. which has many great benefits.

In the 16th century, Swiss botanist and physician, Paracelsus valued rosemary oil because of its ability to strengthen the entire body. He correctly believed that rosemary oil had the ability to heal delicate organs such as the liver, brain, and heart.

Diffuser Blend Tip:

Many diffuser blends involving Rosemary are used for clarity or immune support. This is because Rosemary contains many properties that aid in cognitive function. (Add this to your homework helpers list.)

Infusing Tip:

Infuse into your cooking by adding to marinades and sauces for subtle, earthy and fresh flavor! Especially tasty in Italian dishes.

Rosemary Potato Recipe:


Ingredients:

1.5 pounds potatoes

1 head of garlic

1 T olive oil

2 drops YL Rosemary EO

Salt to taste

Directions:

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Wash & dry potatoes, then cut into bite size pieces. Take apart the head of garlic so each clove is separate. Leave garlic skin on. Toss potatoes, cloves of garlic, & olive oil mixture together until evenly coated throughout. Place cookie sheet in heated oven for about 10 minutes. Flip cook another 10-15 minutes.

Other Recipes:

  • Stir in a few drops of Rosemary Vitality oil to your tomato sauce to add an authentic, fresh flavor.

  • Replace dried rosemary with just a drop of Rosemary Vitality in your favorite recipes, such as breads and pasta dishes.

  • Add a drop of Rosemary Vitality to give marinades and salad dressings an extra dose of flavor.

  • Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Rosemary Vitality for a bread dip that rivals that of any restaurant
