Happy Tuesday Y'all,
Today we have a very special segment that is near and dear to our #JPFFamily. I have the amazing opportunity to create a spotlight for a segment of our business called Conquer and introduce my other half {my baby sister} to you! Conquer is an amazing program for families to implement learning at home for those who have been discouraged by traditional schooling- whatever the reason may be.

Savannah's passion through Conquer is to inspire families, equip parents with the tools they need to help their children thrive, and empower kids to achieve greatness academically, emotionally, and socially.
Savannah has received specialized education in childhood crisis and trauma and its effects on their learning and coping with life, coupled with educating in private, public, and homeschooling. She will work with each parent and child to create an program for them to Conquer personalized goals, based on an assessment of the child and family, to help them thrive academically, emotionally, and socially, as they need. This plan is included as part of your membership in Conquer.
Our goal is to integrate them back into life, empowered and thriving, but we realize that this is different for each student.

Q+A
Where are you from? Where do you live now? Where is your business located?
I am from Anderson, South Carolina, but I am now living in Jacksonville, Florida.
What is the name of your creative business? What is your role or title?
Jackson Pine Farm- Conquer Online Homeschool Co Op.
Homeschool Co Op Program Coordinator. Child Health Coach. Crisis + Trauma Recovery Plan Mentor. Peer Support Group Leader.

So how does this work?
We have created a flexible experience that will allow parents and children to meet with me to assess the child's strengths and needs, which can also be conducted on-line if you are not local. I have received specialized education and training in childhood crisis and trauma and its effects on their learning and coping with life, coupled with educating in private, public, and homeschooling. I work with each parent and child to create a unique plan called a Structured Achievement Program, for them to conquer specific on-going goals, based on an assessment of the child and family, to help them thrive academically, emotionally, and socially, as they need. This program is included as part of the Conquer experience.
How do you offer support?
We understand busy schedules and the fact that not everyone that needs this program is situated in our community, so we have created an online parent support group for moms, dads, and academic coaches that allow them learn from one another or to seek professional guidance or advice from a certified teacher to be equipped educate their children from home.
Perhaps you aren't one of those mom's that likes to sit around and sip tea and talk about working out or who is who in the community. Perhaps you're a stay-at-home dad busy with honey-do-lists longer than you can tackle. You're one more meeting from overloaded.
This is a community for parents just like you to share with each other. Ever had a math problem you needed an answer to? No problem. Or perhaps your child is struggling with accepting a new life change; the support you draw from each other will help you and your family as you have other parents to relate to 24/7.

Tell us about your journey to start this program.
After graduating with a Bachelor's in Education, I knew that there was something more to my passion than teaching alone. I wanted to work with families directly and make more of an impact. I began working with children and families who were struggling in all areas of life, developing treatment plans to get them back on track. I then combined my love for teaching and my passion to work with families so that I can now do both with Conquer Co Op.

Who is your target audience?
We realize that public school isn't for everyone. For whatever reason, maybe it was a personal choice or a challenge for your child to learn in a public environment, Conquer was made for your child. Families that are homeschooling, or considering to educate from home, that want to get involved, but don't have a lot of extra time on their hands. Also, we coach parents that aren't 100% confident that they are capable of educating and parenting, and empower students that need help accessing their full potential or that have been taken off course because of a trauma related event.

This is our first year running Conquer Co-Op, but I have been working with children and families for over 5 years and the vision for Jackson Pine Farm has been in progress since 2010.

I keep writing even when I'm not feeling it, and eventually the words will come.

What sets you apart in your business? What do you aspire others to know about your business?
I think EVERYTHING sets Conquer apart, we're virtual for those who can't participate in person, but also operate in the community for those who need one-on-one or group interactions. We want a relationship, not your business! I think Jackson Pine Farm is like that as a whole. We want to give life back to people in ways they didn't realize they needed- through encouragement, health, and empowerment.
